Sandeep Cement Store

This is Sandeep Cement Store. We’re located at 164 Sector 71, right on Memco Road. If you’ve ever been down this way, you’ve probably seen the bags stacked up out front. It’s a dusty business, there's no way around that. We spend most of the day loading and unloading trucks that come in. The floor is always covered in a fine grey powder no matter how many times we sweep it. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do. We don't have a fancy office, just a small desk in the corner where we keep the ledger and a phone that rings more than I’d like. Memco Road stays busy with heavy traffic, so there’s always noise from the street. We’ve been here at Sector 71 for a while now. Most of the local builders know us by name. We don't have a sales team or any of that. We just sell cement. If we have it in stock, we tell you. If we don’t, we tell you when the next truck is coming in. It’s pretty straightforward. Some days are slow and we just sit on the bags and talk about the weather or the news. Other days, we’re running around like crazy trying to get orders out to the sites. It’s a physical job and by the end of the day, everyone is tired and ready to go home. We’re just a local store trying to keep things moving for the projects around here.
