Sahil Bag House

Sahil Bag House is right in the middle of Manimajra. If you know the area, you probably know the street. It is a place where you can find us almost every day of the week. The shop is filled with all kinds of bags, from big ones for traveling to small ones for kids. We do not have a very large space, so we use every inch of the walls. There is always something to do, like checking the zippers or rearranging the stock so people can see what we have. Manimajra is always crowded, and the sounds of horns and people talking come right inside. We do not mind it much anymore. It is just part of the day. The shop feels a bit like home because we spend so much time here. The paint on the walls is peeling a little in the corners, but it does not bother anyone. Most of our customers are locals who live nearby or work in the shops down the street. They come in looking for something sturdy to carry their tools or their lunch. We do not use any big words to describe what we do. It is just a bag house. We show people what is available and they pick what they like. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it is slow, watching the rickshaws go by. We have had the same wooden counter since the day we opened up. It has got some scratches and marks on it, but it serves us well.
