Sagal Foundation

Sagal Foundation is run out of a house in Manimajra. The address is House Number 48/1 in Subhash Nagar. It’s a local neighborhood, and that’s exactly how we like it. We aren't in one of those big glass buildings in the center of the city. We are just part of the community here in Chandigarh. The 160101 area is where we live and work. It’s a simple place. We use a couple of rooms to manage everything for the foundation. It can be a bit tight when we have a lot going on, but it keeps us close to the people we are actually trying to help. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy pages, so you're just getting the truth from us. Sagal Foundation is basically just a few of us putting in the hours. We have a lot of tea, we talk to the neighbors, and we handle the paperwork as it comes. It feels more real doing it from Subhash Nagar than it would from a corporate office. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded with traffic, but that is just Manimajra for you. We’ve been here for a good while, and the foundation has grown slowly but surely. We just keep at it, day in and day out, from this little spot. It’s honest work and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. It's just what we do every day.
