Prathana Foundation

Prathana Foundation is over in Sector 38 at 3049. It’s a pretty quiet office most of the time. We aren’t a big corporation with hundreds of employees. Usually, there’s just a handful of us sitting here trying to get things organized. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working on paperwork related to the various projects we help with. The space is a bit cramped with all the files and boxes of supplies we keep for the community events. We’ve been in Sector 38 for a while now, and most of the people on this block know who we are. It’s not a fancy building, just a regular place where we do our work. Sometimes we have volunteers coming in and out, which makes it feel a bit more lively. We don’t have a big budget for decorations, so the walls are mostly bare except for a few calendars. Every day brings something different to deal with. One day we might be sorting through donations, and the next we’re trying to figure out how to fix the old computer. It’s just the way it goes here. We don't have a lot of formal meetings. Most decisions are made over a cup of tea in the afternoon. We just try to stay busy and do what we can with the resources we have at hand. It’s hard work sometimes, but we’re used to it by now. We don't mind the long hours as long as things get done.
