Prasanchetas Foundation

Our office for the Prasanchetas Foundation is at SCO-367-368 in Sector-35 B. If you know this part of Chandigarh, you know it’s a very active area with lots of shops and people moving around. We are located in one of those typical shop-cum-office buildings that have been around for a while. The stairs can be a bit steep, so we always tell visitors to take it slow. Inside, it’s just a regular workspace. We have a couple of large tables where we spread out our documents and laptops. It isn't a quiet library atmosphere; you can always hear the sound of the market and cars from the street below. We’ve grown used to it over time. Sometimes we have to shout a little over the noise if the windows are open. We don't have any expensive art on the walls or designer furniture. It’s mostly just shelves filled with files and a few chairs that have seen better days. We like being in Sector 35 because it’s easy for people to find us, and there’s always a place to grab a quick bite nearby. Most of the time, we are just busy keeping up with the day-to-day tasks of the foundation. It’s a bit messy sometimes with books and papers everywhere, but that’s just how we work. We don't try to hide the fact that we are a small operation. It’s a functional and honest place to spend the day.
