New Education Abroad Overseas is tucked away on the top floor of SCO 235 in Sector 40D. Being on the top floor means we get a decent view of the neighborhood, though the elevator can be a bit slow some mornings and it gets crowded. We help people who are looking to head overseas for their studies. It’s a lot of paperwork and a lot of waiting for emails to come back from universities. We aren't a big flashy agency. It’s mostly just a couple of us sitting at our desks, surrounded by folders and university brochures. We started this because we realized how confusing the whole process can be for families here in Chandigarh. We try to keep things down to earth. There's no pressure here. If you come in, we just sit down and talk about where you want to go. The office gets a bit warm in the summer, but we have the fans going. We've lived in Chandigarh a long time, and we like being part of the community in Sector 40. It’s a nice area with good people. Sometimes things get busy and the phone won't stop ringing, but we try to give everyone a fair bit of our time. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just know how to handle the forms and we like helping out the local kids. That’s pretty much the whole story of our little office.
