We operate out of the basement at Sco-13, 14, and 15 in Sector 34A. Chandigarh is a big city, but people know this sector because it is packed with offices. Being in the basement means we don't get much natural light, but the space stays a bit cooler during the peak of summer. Thick folders and desks fill up most of our rooms. Our days are spent dealing with people who want to go abroad for various reasons. This involves a massive amount of form-filling and checking documents for errors. Many people come in feeling confused by all the requirements, so they sit down with us to sort it out. We aren't doing anything fancy or high-tech here, just regular office work that needs to be finished. Our team is small, and some of us have been in this same spot for several years now. Since the area is familiar, we usually get our lunch from one of the small stalls nearby. Sector 34A is always full of cars, so you have to be patient when coming to visit us. Inside the office, it is mostly quiet except for the sound of typing or a phone ringing. We don't put on any kind of show for visitors. We just look at the papers and see what needs doing next.
