Our office is located right on Madhya Marg at Chaitanya Dham, specifically in units 493 and 494. It is usually quite busy here with people coming in to ask about moving abroad for their studies or work opportunities. We spend a lot of our time looking at various forms and checking over passport copies or university applications. It can be a bit overwhelming for some families when they first walk in, so we try to just take everything step by step. Dealing with all the different rules for different countries takes a lot of patience and attention to detail. We have been in this spot for a while now, and most people know us as the place with all the files and folders stacked up on the desks. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing all morning, but we try to answer every call when we can between meetings. It isn't a huge corporate setup, just a group of us sitting at our desks making sure the paperwork is done correctly so nobody gets their visa rejected for a silly mistake or a missing signature. We see a lot of young students who are very nervous about leaving home for the first time. We talk to them about what to expect and which documents they need to carry in their bags. It's practical work, mostly. Every day is different depending on which country's regulations changed or who walked through the door with a new set of questions. We just keep at it, one application after another, right here in Chaitanya Dham.
