Our place is in Sector 50 C, over in the Telehos building in Chandigarh. We are the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research. Being in Chandigarh, everything is laid out in blocks, so finding us at 2420 isn't too hard. The building feels a bit like a school sometimes because there’s always someone learning something new about medicines. We’ve got labs that smell a bit like chemicals and long hallways with posters about different drugs and research. It’s a busy spot but not in a frantic way. People here are pretty focused. You’ll see staff in lab coats carrying trays or sitting in the small canteen having a quick snack. We’ve been in this sector for a while and the trees around the building have grown quite tall. The furniture in the main office is a bit mismatched, but it’s comfortable enough for a long day. We don’t go for any of that modern, glass-and-steel office look. It’s just a solid, functional space where pharmaceutical work gets done. Most of us live nearby, so it’s a local crowd. We just show up, do the research, and head home. It’s a decent place to work and the atmosphere is pretty relaxed despite the serious nature of the science. We like being part of the Chandigarh community in this specific sector.
