It’s pretty loud here most days. We are located at 149 Industrial Area, Phase II, and the machines usually start up early. Some of the guys have been here for years, so they know the furnace sounds better than anyone else. It gets hot inside, especially in the afternoons, but that’s just how the work goes. We handle heat treatment stuff. It’s not fancy. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains, but we try to keep it organized enough so nobody trips. We get a lot of trucks coming in and out of the gate. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy on the desk, but we find what we need eventually. Usually, we take our breaks together and talk about whatever is on the news. It’s a steady place to be. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over time. More buildings went up, and the traffic got worse. But inside our walls, things stay mostly the same. We just focus on the orders we have for the day and try to get them finished before it’s time to go home. If you walk by, you’ll probably hear the hum of the equipment from the street. It’s just us doing what we do. Not much more to say than that. There are no big offices here, just the work area and a small spot to sit. We’ve been at it a long while now and plan to keep going.
