Milkmade

Milkmade is located at Sector 20 1. We are right on the corner. It is a simple dairy shop where we handle milk and some other basic things like curd and paneer. The mornings are our busiest time. People come in with their steel containers before they go to work. We have large metal cans that get delivered early every day. The floor is made of stone and we wash it down with water all the time to keep it cool. There isn't much furniture here. Just the counter and the big fridges in the back. Sector 20 is a quiet neighborhood for the most part, but our corner stays busy. We know the milkman well; he’s been coming here for a long time. Sometimes the bags leak and we have to clean up the mess quickly. It’s just part of the job. We don't do any fancy advertising or anything. People just know we are here at number 1. The walls could use a new coat of paint, maybe next year. We keep the ledger on a small wooden desk near the door. My nephew helps out on the weekends when he isn't in school. We just try to make sure there is enough for everyone who shows up in the evening. It’s a steady routine that doesn't change much from one month to the next. That is how the business works here.
