Mdc Pharmaceutical is located right in the middle of Industrial Area Phase 1. If you know the area, you know it’s full of factories and large warehouses. There are trucks moving in and out at all hours, and the sound of machinery is pretty constant. We fit right in with the rest of the industrial buildings. Our space is more of a warehouse than a traditional office. It’s got high ceilings and big metal doors that we roll up in the morning to let the air in. We spend the day navigating between rows of pallets and heavy boxes. It’s a very physical job. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a place for guests to sit. If someone visits, they usually just stand by the main desk while we look up what they need. The floors are stained with age and the walls are a plain grey. It’s a no-nonsense environment. We focus on getting the shipments ready for the distributors. We have a small crew and everyone knows their job, so we don't need much supervision. The dust from the industrial area is a constant battle, so we are always wiping things down. It’s not a glamorous place to work, but it’s where we get things done. We usually leave when the sun starts to set and the industrial area finally starts to quiet down a bit for the night.
