You can find us at number 4019 in Maloya Colony. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of life moving through the streets at all hours. Our office is right in the middle of it all. We’ve been here for a bit now, and we’ve gotten to know almost everyone on this block. The office itself is small and stays pretty cluttered with paperwork and donation boxes. We don't spend money on fancy furniture because it doesn't really matter for what we do. We mostly focus on helping out the families in the colony who are going through a hard time. Whether it’s food, clothes, or just helping someone figure out a government form, we try to be available. There’s usually a pot of tea on the stove and someone sitting in the corner waiting to talk. It’s a very informal atmosphere. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that. Word of mouth is how most people find out about us. Someone tells a neighbor, and then they show up at our door. Sometimes the street gets loud with kids playing or vendors shouting, but that’s just part of the charm of being in Maloya. We work long hours, but it doesn't feel like a chore because we’re helping our own people. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to that yet. We’re more worried about the people coming through the door.
