Luxmi Dairy Products & Sweets

Our shop, Luxmi Dairy Products & Sweets, is located in Sector 30 near Safed Pool. It’s a place that smells like fresh milk and sugar most of the time. We start very early in the morning when the milk arrives. There’s a lot of cleaning to do, scrubbing the big vats and making sure everything is ready for the day's batches of sweets. We don’t have a polished showroom. It’s more of a functional space where we make things and sell them over the counter. The floors are often damp from being washed down so much. We make a variety of traditional sweets, and while we try to keep things consistent, every batch is a little bit different because that’s just how it is when you make things by hand. The area around Safed Pool is quite active, so we get a lot of people stopping in for a quick snack or to pick up milk for their families. Sometimes we run out of certain items by the afternoon, especially if there's a festival coming up. We don’t use fancy packaging or have a marketing team. We just wrap things up in paper and hope you enjoy them. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, especially near the hot stoves, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We’re just a local dairy shop trying to provide something fresh for the people in Sector 30. It’s what we know how to do best.
