Job Well Careers

Our office is on the second floor of SCO 60-61 in Sector 45C. It is a bit of a climb up those stairs every morning, especially when you are carrying a heavy bag or a tray of tea for the staff. Once you get inside, it is mostly just desks, computers, and a lot of printed resumes scattered around. We spend most of our time looking at screens and talking on the phone to people looking for work. Sector 45C is a busy part of town, so there is always noise coming up from the street below, mostly horns and people shouting. We have a small waiting area, but it gets crowded pretty fast if more than three people show up at once. The air conditioner works most of the time, though it has a habit of rattling when it is really hot outside in the summer. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and maybe a few old notes taped up near the light switches to remind us of things. It is a practical space for what we do. We try to keep track of who is looking for what, but the files seem to grow faster than we can file them away. Most days we are here until late, just trying to finish up the emails and make sure we didn’t miss any important calls. It is just normal office work, really. Nothing too exciting, just helping people.
