Jarnail Ghuman

Jarnail Ghuman is the name on the door here at 2903 04 in Sector 22. To find us, you have to go all the way up to the top floor, which can be a bit of a climb if you aren’t used to it. The stairs are narrow and sometimes the light in the hallway flickers, but once you get inside, it’s a quiet place to work. We have a few windows that look out over the rest of the sector, though the view is mostly just other rooftops and water tanks. It’s a small operation here. Most of the day is spent handling documents and talking to people who come by with various requests. We don’t have a big reception desk or fancy uniforms. It’s just a regular office with some old wooden furniture and a clock that ticks a bit too loudly when it’s quiet. We usually keep the door open to let some air in during the summer months. Jarnail is usually at the main desk, and we have a couple of other people helping out with the typing and filing. It’s the kind of place where things move at a steady pace. We don’t like to rush because that’s how mistakes happen with the paperwork. We’ve been on this top floor for quite a while now and we’re quite settled in. We do our own cleaning and make our own tea, keeping things very basic and simple for everyone.
