Ijrts Takshila Foundation

The Ijrts Takshila Foundation is located at SCF 10. If you know the area, we’re right opposite the DRDA and very close to the PNB Bank. Having the bank nearby is actually pretty handy for us when we need to handle the foundation's finances. It’s a pretty busy little pocket of the neighborhood. Being in an SCF means we have a bit more of a commercial storefront feel than some of the other foundations that work out of houses. We have our main workspace here where we keep all our records and handle the daily administrative stuff. It’s not a huge place, but it’s enough for what we need. You can usually find us here during the regular working hours, though things can get a bit hectic if there’s a lot of traffic outside. The landmark of the DRDA is the easiest way to explain where we are to anyone visiting for the first time. We don't spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. It’s mostly just shelves full of files and our desks. We like being in a spot where there’s some life on the street. It makes the day go by faster when you can see people coming and going from the bank and the other shops. It’s a straightforward setup that works for us, and we’ve been at SCF 10 long enough that it feels like home.
