We are up on the second floor of SCO-2 in Sector 17. It’s right there near the Capital Book Store, so it isn’t too hard to find if you’re familiar with the area. Being in Sec-17 E means there's always something happening downstairs. This place is an academy, so there’s a lot of learning going on alongside the regular hair and beauty work. It's often quite loud with students talking and dryers running. We spend a lot of time on our feet here. The floor is usually covered in bits of hair and empty product bottles. It's a busy spot in Chandigarh 160017. People come in looking for different things, maybe a haircut or to learn how to do one themselves. We have some big windows that look out, though we’re usually too busy to look out them much. The chairs are always occupied. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks or we run out of clean towels, but we manage. It’s a practical space, not a showroom. We’ve got mirrors all along the walls and plenty of stations set up for everyone. It gets a bit hectic on weekends especially. Everyone is just trying to get their work done and keep things moving along. It’s a lot of training and practice every single day. We just try to get through the appointments.
