Guru Hardev Confectioners

Our shop is at number 178 in Sector 28, and it’s a place where we keep things pretty simple. We have shelves filled with glass jars that hold all sorts of biscuits, candies, and snacks. Every morning, the fresh bread arrives and the whole place smells like yeast for a few hours. We also have some refrigerated cases for milk, curd, and a few pastries, but we aren't a big bakery. It’s mostly just a spot where people from the neighborhood come to pick up something sweet or their daily eggs. Kids often stop by after their school gets out, looking for small packets of chips or chocolates. We’ve been here for years, so we’ve seen a lot of these kids grow up. The shop isn't very large, so it can get a bit cramped when three or four people are inside at once. We don't use any fancy displays, just basic wooden shelves that we’ve had since we opened. Sometimes we run out of the popular snacks by the evening, especially on the weekends. My family helps out behind the counter when it gets busy. We like the routine of opening up early and closing late. It’s just a regular local confectionery where we try to keep the staples in stock for everyone living nearby in the sector.
