Goel Juice & Ice Cream Corner

Our shop is at number 5 inside the Tardeo Air Conditioned Market in Sector 38. It’s a nice spot because we don't have to deal with the outside heat. We have a couple of big fridges for the ice cream and a counter for the juicers. The machines make a lot of noise when we’re busy. We spend a lot of time peeling fruit and cleaning up spills. Sticky counters are the worst part of the job. We have all the basic flavors people like. We don't do any of those weird modern combinations. Just the usual stuff. People come in while they’re shopping in the market to take a break. We have a few chairs, but most people just stand and drink their juice. The market gets very busy on Saturdays. We have to bring in extra ice on those days. We’ve been in this specific unit for quite a few years now. The neighbors in the other stalls are friendly. We sometimes trade a juice for a snack from the next shop over. It’s a small community inside the building. We keep things simple and focus on what we have. There’s no big secret to what we do. We just open up and start juicing. It’s a steady way to spend the day in Sector 38. Some days are slow, but that's just business.
