Fins Overseas Private Limited is way up on the 4th floor of SCO 128-129 in Sector 34A. Being on the top floor means we get a bit of a view, but it also means we're away from the street level noise of Chandigarh. Sector 34 is quite the hub for businesses like ours. We spend our days looking at travel documents and school applications for people wanting to head overseas. The office isn't huge, but we’ve tucked desks into the corners to make it work. It feels like a real workplace, with stacks of paper and the sound of printers going off. We don't have a fancy lobby. When you walk in, you’re pretty much right there with us. We started this because we knew the process of going abroad is a headache for most people. We’ve been through it ourselves or helped enough friends to know the ropes. It’s a lot of checking boxes and following up with emails. Sometimes we stay late when there’s a deadline for an application. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for those long afternoons. It's a small team here, so everyone does a bit of everything, from answering phones to filing records. We aren't trying to be a big multinational; we’re just a local Chandigarh firm doing our job for the folks who walk through our door.
