It’s basically a home-based office setup which makes it a bit more relaxed than those big buildings downtown. We’ve been operating out of Chandigarh for years. The space is filled with tax books and client files. We handle things like balance sheets and tax planning for local businesses. It’s a small team here. We don't have a receptionist in a suit or a lobby with fancy coffee. You just walk in and we get to work. Most of our clients are neighbors or people running small shops around the sector. They come to us because they need help with their GST or just general bookkeeping. We try to explain things in plain English so it makes sense. Dealing with the tax department can be a headache, so we spend a lot of time on the phone or on the government portals. Sometimes it’s frustrating when the website crashes, but we manage. Sector 37-D is a nice area to work in. It’s central enough for people to find us without much trouble. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm out there. We just want to keep the books balanced and the paperwork filed on time. That is really the whole story of what goes on here every day.
