We have our workspace at Cosmossci Research And Development Private Limited on the first floor of Plot No 940. This is in the Industrial Area Phase 2 of Chandigarh, so it’s a lot of concrete and activity around here. We do a mix of research and development work, which basically means we spend our time testing things out and seeing what works. It’s not always pretty, and our lab area often has wires and parts scattered about. We aren't a polished corporate firm with a marketing budget. We’re just a group of people who enjoy figuring out how things function. The office gets a bit warm in the summer, but we have some fans and an old AC that does its best. We moved here because we needed the space for our projects that you just can't get in a regular office building. Most of our day involves looking at data or trying to solve a technical puzzle that has us stuck. We don't really do the whole suit-and-tie thing. Most of us are in jeans and old shirts. We have a small kitchen area where we make a lot of tea and coffee to keep us going. It’s a busy place, and there’s always something being tinkered with. We don't promise anything revolutionary, we just put in the hours and see where the research takes us. It’s a gritty but rewarding way to spend the work week.
