Classic Icecream

Down in Sector 20, right near the Dhinkwa Police Station at Scf 1, is where Classic Icecream is located. Being so close to the station means we see a lot of people coming and going throughout the day. The shop isn't very large, but we have enough room for the big freezers that keep all the products frozen solid. A lot of my time is spent checking the temperature because if the power goes out, it would be a huge problem for us. The walls are painted a plain color, and we have some old posters hanging up that have been there for years. It is mostly quiet in the morning hours, but once the local schools get out, the kids start showing up in groups. They can never seem to decide which flavor they want, and it usually takes them forever to pick something. I just wait patiently and let them choose. Sometimes the police officers from next door come in for a quick break when it is especially hot outside. We have been at Scf 1 for a good number of years now. It is a simple life, just scooping ice cream and chatting with the people from the neighborhood. I don't really do any advertising at all; people just know we are here. The street outside can get a bit dusty with the wind, but we keep the inside as clean as possible.
