Chocolateria Saan Shurro

Chocolateria Saan Shurro is located in Sector 9, at 40/41 on 19th Main. It’s a decent-sized space, but it often feels smaller because of all the equipment and ingredients we have stored inside. We spend most of our time at the large work tables in the back. The air always has a bit of a sweet smell to it, which we’ve stopped noticing after being here so long. 19th Main is a pretty active street, so there’s always something to look at out the window when we take a breather. We don't have any professional decorators or a fancy storefront. The walls are a bit scuffed from moving boxes around, and the lighting is just basic overhead bulbs. We don't have a corporate handbook or any rules about how to speak to people. We just act like ourselves and hope for the best. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late, and we have to shuffle our whole schedule around. That’s just part of running a local business. We keep our tools in a specific order so we can find them quickly. It’s not a high-tech operation; it’s mostly just hands-on work. Sector 9 is a good neighborhood, and we’ve gotten to know the other shop owners around 40/41. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just come in every day, do our jobs, and head home when the sun goes down.
