You can find us at 1099 Sector 18 C in Chandigarh. This part of the city is always moving, and we are right there in the middle of it. At Canam Consultants Ltd, our daily life is pretty predictable. We open up in the morning, get the computers started, and see who shows up. The office isn't anything you'd see in a magazine. It’s got some mismatched chairs and a bookshelf that’s leaning a little to one side. We prefer it that way because it’s comfortable. People come in with all sorts of questions, and we do our best to help them out without making things too complicated. We spend a lot of time looking at screens, so we try to take breaks and walk around the block. The team here is small, and we mostly just get along and do our work. There’s always a pile of mail to go through and files to organize. We don’t have a fancy mission statement or anything like that. We just show up and handle the paperwork. It’s a regular business in a regular building in Sector 18. We like being part of the local scene here in Chandigarh. It’s a practical setup for a practical job. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the clock ticking on the wall while we write our notes.
