Bhagwan Singh & Sons

Bhagwan Singh & Sons has been operating out of Sco 162-163 on the 1st floor in Sector-9-C for a long time. Being right on Madhya Marg means we see the whole city of Chandigarh go by from our windows. The office is a bit of a maze with all the shelves and the old wooden partitions we have. It is a family business, so you will often find two or three generations of us arguing about where a certain file went or how to handle a new request. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals written on the walls. Instead, we have old photos and a lot of calendars. Most of our day is spent dealing with people who have been coming to us for years. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, but it keeps us moving. We take our lunch breaks together, usually sharing whatever has been brought from home. It is a steady, predictable kind of work. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just making sure the business stays solid and the customers are taken care of properly. The sector layout makes everything feel organized, even when our own desks are a bit of a mess. It’s just how we’ve always done things here. We prefer the old-school way of doing business, where a handshake and a conversation still matter.
