It is mostly busy here at Plot No-92. Being in Phase 2 of the Industrial Area means there are always trucks moving around and people coming in and out. I usually get here early to open up the shutters. You can smell the paint as soon as you step inside the warehouse. It is a big space, but it fills up fast with stacks of buckets and cans. Sometimes the dust from the industrial area gets inside, so we spend a lot of time just keeping the floor decent. It’s not a fancy place by any means. We have some old desks in the corner where the paperwork gets piled up. The phone rings a lot throughout the afternoon. People ask for specific shades or want to know if a shipment arrived from the main plant. We try to keep track of everything, but sometimes the lists get messy. The sun hits the front door pretty hard in the summer months. Most of us here have been around for a while, so we know the regulars who drive in from other parts of town. It’s just a regular workday, checking the stock and moving palettes from one side of the room to the other. There is a small tea stall just down the road where we go when things quiet down for a bit. It’s just how things go here at the industrial estate. We don't have much time for sitting around.
