Baskin Robbins

Working at Baskin Robbins in Sector 17c SCO-142 means you deal with a lot of cold air and sticky floors. The freezers have this constant hum that you eventually stop hearing after a few hours. We have all the different tubs lined up behind the glass. People come in and stand there for five minutes just trying to decide what they want. It’s funny to watch the kids point at the bright colors. We spend a lot of time scooping, which actually makes your wrist pretty sore after a long shift. When the weather gets really hot, the shop is always full because people just want to stand in the air conditioning for a bit. We go through a lot of napkins and plastic spoons. Sometimes a kid drops their cone right by the door and then there is a mess to clean up before someone steps in it. Sector 17 is always busy with people shopping, so we get a lot of foot traffic. SCO-142 is right in the middle of things. We don't do anything special, just keep the freezers running and the floors mopped. It is a simple job, really. You talk to people, you give them their ice cream, and you wipe the counters. At night, we have to make sure all the lids are on tight so nothing gets freezer burn. It’s just how we run things here in the sector. It is a good place to work.
