Anupam Pharma

Anupam Pharma is situated in Sector 29, at number 37. It’s a standard chemist shop, nothing more, nothing less. We spend most of our time looking at prescriptions and pulling boxes from the shelves. The light in here is very bright because we need to see the small print on the labels. It can get stressful when a lot of people come in at once, all in a hurry. We try to be quick but you have to be careful with medicine. There’s always that smell of antiseptic and paper in the air. I’ve worked here for a long time, and I’ve seen the neighborhood grow. We have the usual glass counters filled with stuff like band-aids and soaps. The back wall is where we keep the serious stuff. Sometimes people come in asking for medical advice, but I usually tell them they really need to see a doctor instead. We just provide the supplies. The delivery bikes are always coming and going from the front curb. It’s a busy corner of the sector. When it’s quiet, I spend time checking the expiry dates or cleaning the glass. It’s a lot of standing on your feet all day. We keep a small radio playing in the background just to have some noise. It’s just a regular local pharmacy where we try to keep the stocks full so people don't have to go elsewhere. We do our best to stay organized.
