Our office is right on the Main Road in Sector-22. We are in the business of waste handling, which means we deal with things most people would rather not think about. Our days are filled with managing schedules for trucks and making sure the waste gets collected and moved to the right places. It is a tough, gritty business and it’s definitely not for everyone. The office is often a bit noisy with drivers coming in and out to turn in their logs or pick up new routes. We have a lot of maps and schedules pinned to the walls. We don't have a lot of frills here. The focus is just on the logistics of keeping things clean and moving. Sometimes equipment breaks down or there’s a delay at the disposal site, which can throw a wrench in the whole day’s plan. We just have to adjust and keep moving. The staff here understands that the work is important, even if it’s dirty. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the crews out on the road. It’s a lot of coordination and hard work in all kinds of weather. We’ve been doing this for a good while now and we know the roads around here like the back of our hands. It's just a regular group of people doing a job that needs to be done, every single day, without much fuss.
