Our spot is tucked into Sector 45 over at Viil Burial, specifically at 156-58/2. Most mornings start with us checking the trucks and making sure we have enough bubble wrap and tape for the day’s jobs. Moving houses is heavy work and we spend a lot of time lifting crates and figuring out how to fit a sofa through a narrow doorway. It’s a lot of physical effort. The guys have been doing this for years, so we know which boxes usually hold the heavy books and which ones are the breakable kitchen stuff. We spend more time on the road than in the actual office. Sector 45 is a busy area, so getting the truck parked can be a bit of a puzzle sometimes. We see families moving in and out of the village area all the time. Sometimes it's just a few bags and other times it's a whole life's worth of furniture. We don't really do the flashy stuff, just packing things up and driving them where they need to go. The dust from the road gets on everything, but that's just part of the job. We keep the paperwork on a small desk back at the shop. It isn't much of a fancy setup, just a place to keep the schedules straight so we don't miss a move. We just try to get the job done so people can get settled in.
