We are located in Sector 21, specifically at 1219/21B. It’s a quiet enough area most days, which helps when you’re trying to focus on fixing things. The office is filled with various parts, tools, and machines that people bring in when they stop working right. Most of the time, our days are spent looking at gears, rollers, and circuit boards. It’s a lot of sitting at the workbench with a lamp moved close so we can see what’s going on inside a printer or a copier. There’s usually a bit of toner dust or ink on the tables, no matter how much we wipe them down. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The neighborhood knows us as the place where you take the office gear when it starts making weird noises. We don’t have a big front desk or anything like that. It’s more of a workshop feel where the focus is on the repair itself. Sometimes we have to wait on parts to arrive, so machines sit on the shelves for a few days. We just go through the pile one by one. It’s steady work. The sun comes through the window in the afternoon and hits the metal casings of the machines. We usually have some tea around four o’clock and then get back to it. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day, making sure things run like they should for the people nearby in the sector.
