We’ve been working from this location for a while, focusing on helping people get their careers moving in the right direction. The office is a simple place with a few desks and some chairs for visitors. We don’t really have a big staff, so everyone here does a bit of everything, from answering the door to filing complicated paperwork. It’s a practical environment where we don’t worry too much about appearances and focus more on the task at hand. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to different companies and looking up job requirements. There are always papers lying around and our whiteboards are usually covered in notes about different deadlines and contact names. It can get a little messy during the peak seasons, but we know where everything is. We like being in Sector 11 because it’s a familiar place and we’ve gotten to know the other shop owners nearby. If you walk in, you’ll likely see us hunched over our computers or talking through a career plan with someone at the front desk. We try to keep things grounded and just deal with the facts of what someone needs to do to get where they want to go. It’s a lot of work but we just keep at it.
