K. M. Chemicals

You can find K. M. Chemicals over on Street No. 429 near Sikree Gate. We are quite close to Sneh Lata School, so the street gets very busy and noisy when the kids are heading home in the afternoon. Our space is mostly storage and a small area in the front for paperwork. It smells a bit like cleaning agents and industrial stuff inside, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We handle different types of chemical products that local businesses and workshops need for their processes. The shelves are packed high with drums and plastic containers. It’s a lot of lifting and moving things around throughout the day. We don't have a big sign out front, just the address and the name painted on the wall. Sometimes it gets dusty because of the roadwork nearby. We keep a ledger of what goes in and out, though we’re trying to use the computer more these days for the accounts. It’s a small team here, and we all do a bit of everything, from unloading trucks to answering the phone. The school bell usually tells us when it’s time to start wrapping things up for the day. It isn't a glamorous job, but the local shops rely on us to have what they need in stock. We just focus on keeping the inventory organized and the orders moving. It’s a basic operation that works for us and our customers around Sikree Gate.
