Jyoti Mission School

Jyoti Mission School is situated at Mugal Chowk, right on the road that goes from Mugalsarai to Chandauli. We are in the Alinagar area. The road outside is usually quite busy with trucks and buses passing by all day long. Our building sits back a little so the noise isn't too bad inside the classrooms. We have been here for a good number of years now. The school is a place where local kids come for their daily lessons and to meet their friends. We have a staff that has stayed mostly the same for a long time. We are not a fancy private school with uniforms that cost a fortune. We just keep things basic and affordable for the local families. The classrooms have what they need and nothing more. We spend our time working through the textbooks and preparing for tests. Chandauli is a growing area, so we see new faces every year. We do not do much in terms of promotion; the word of mouth from parents is enough for us to keep going. It is a bit of a walk from the main bus stop, but most kids are used to it. We make sure the gates are locked during school hours for safety. The office is right at the front if anyone needs to talk to the staff. It is a straightforward school for people in the area.
