Iqra Mission School

Our school is located on Sat Pokhri Plot, right in the Dulhipur area of Chandauli. If you know the neighborhood, it’s not too hard to find Iqra Mission School. We started this place because there were so many kids around here needing a spot to study. It’s a local school through and through. The building is basic, and we’ve added bits and pieces to it over the years as we needed more space. Sometimes the yard gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but the kids don't seem to mind much when they're playing outside. Inside, it’s a lot of the same—chalkboards, rows of wooden desks, and posters on the walls that the students made. We have a small group of teachers who live nearby and walk to work most days. It’s a noisy place during the day, which is what you expect when you have a couple hundred kids in one spot. We spend a lot of time on the basics, making sure everyone is keeping up with their reading and math. We aren’t trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a neighborhood school for families in Chandauli who want their kids to have a steady place to go every morning. We handle the paperwork, keep the rooms clean, and make sure the gates are locked at night. It’s a lot of routine, but it works for us. Everyone knows everyone here, which makes the whole day feel more like a family gathering.
