Modern India Con-Cast Limited

The foundry work we do at Modern India Con-Cast Limited is pretty heavy and often quite hot. We are located in Chandannagor, specifically in Boxigoli Lane, which is part of the Hooghly district. Partha Pal and Gopal Pal have been handling things here for a while. If you know this part of West Bengal, you know it gets very humid, and working with cast metal makes it even hotter inside the shed. We deal with various casting jobs that local industries need for their own operations. It is messy work with a lot of sand and molten metal, but that is just how the business goes for us. Our address is a bit tucked away, but most folks around the Pin 712136 area can find us if they look for the Pal family’s place. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just a workspace where we get the orders finished. Some days are slow and some days the furnace doesn't stop. We have some local guys helping out with the heavy lifting and the molds. It’s been this way for years. People come to us when they need specific metal parts made because we know the process well. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay cool during the West Bengal summers. It is a basic setup, nothing too complicated, just making sure the metal is poured right and the shapes come out like they are supposed to. We just get on with it every single day.
