Tata Tinplate

We have got our setup here at 65/31 Tentultala Lane in Mankundu. It is part of the Hooghly district in West Bengal. If you know the area, you know it is a bit tucked away, but we like it that way. We work with Tata Tinplate products mostly. The office is pretty basic, nothing to write home about. We have a few desks and a lot of old registers. The pin code is 712136 if you are sending us something by post. Dealing with tinplate involves a lot of logistics and timing. Some days are long, starting early before the sun is even fully up. We handle a lot of paperwork to keep things moving. The building isn’t brand new, it has some character and maybe a few leaky spots when it rains really hard in monsoon season. We do not have a fancy website or a PR person. It is just a bunch of us trying to get the job done correctly. The lane can be narrow, so you have to be careful driving down Tentultala Lane. Most of our neighbors are local families and other small businesses. We try to keep the noise down, but sometimes it is unavoidable. It is a quiet life here in Mankundu but there is always work to be done. We focus on the daily tasks and making sure the tinplate gets where it is supposed to go without any drama. It is just a regular workplace doing regular things.
