Skynet Computers

Down in Bettiah, on the Govindganj Road, you'll find us at Kedar Sah Market in Jagdishpur. Skynet Computers is a small shop where we mostly deal with PC repairs and selling parts. The road outside is often dusty, and you can hear the big buses going by all day long. We have a couple of wooden workbenches covered in loose screws, old screwdrivers, and open computer cases. It’s not the neatest place you'll ever visit, but we know how to fix things. People from the local villages often come in because their laptops stopped working or they need a new charging cable. We try to help them out quickly without making it too expensive for them. The walls have a few old posters of motherboard parts, and there is a small TV in the corner that is usually on the news. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy sign. We just rely on the fact that we are easy to find right on the main road. Sometimes the internet connection in Jagdishpur acts up, which makes our job a bit harder, but we just wait it out and keep working. It’s a simple life here. We open up early in the morning, sweep the dust from the front, and wait for the first customer. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just making sure people around here can get back to their work or studies. It’s a practical little business for a busy town.
