We are situated at Cut No 277, right across from the Mersedize Benze plant in the Chakan Industrial Area. It is a massive place out here, and the wind usually blows a lot of dust around the site. Being in Chakan means we are surrounded by some of the biggest names in the car world, but our shop is a lot more basic. We do auto engineering, which mostly involves a lot of grease, heavy metal parts, and loud machines that vibrate the floor. The sun really beats down on the roof in the afternoons, making the workshop pretty warm, but we just keep the doors open to catch whatever breeze we can. Our team is a bunch of practical folks who do not care much for fancy talk. We just want to get the engineering right so the parts we make actually work when they get installed. We spend a lot of time measuring things and checking blueprints that are usually stained with oil. It is a busy life, and sometimes we are here until late at night getting a shipment ready. Living and working in an industrial zone like this means you are always around trucks and big engines. It is not a quiet place, but it is where the work is. We have been at this spot for a while now and we know all the other shop owners nearby. We just do our bit and keep the gears turning every day.
