Our place is out in Kuruli, specifically at Plot No. 11 near Gate No. 627/1/1- B. If you know the Chakan area, you know it is mostly industrial and can get quite busy with trucks and heavy loads moving around all day. Kimaya Engineering Pvt Ltd is right in the middle of all that action. We do a lot of engineering work, mostly focused on the technical side of things. The shop floor is usually covered in metal shavings and the smell of oil. It is just the way it is when you are making parts. We have a lot of different machines lined up, and there is always something humming in the background. It is not a quiet job, but we like the pace of it. The guys here have been doing this for a long time, so they know the machines inside and out. We don't really have a big corporate setup or a shiny lobby. It is more about getting the measurements right and making sure the metal is cut the way it should be. Sometimes the power goes out in the area, and we have to wait it out, but mostly we are just grinding away. Being in Tal Khed means we see a lot of the same delivery drivers every week. We just stick to our plot and do the engineering work that comes our way. It can be a long drive out here for some, but for us, it is just where we work every day.
