Vijaya Kumar Cement Store

If you're heading down Bypass Road near Badi Bazar, you’ll find us. We're pretty close to Chaibasa Tata College. The store is called Vijaya Kumar Cement Store, and it’s a pretty straightforward operation. We deal with heavy bags and trucks coming in and out all day long. It’s dusty work, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. The college students walk past all the time, heading to their classes, while we're loading up orders for local builders. Being on the bypass makes it much easier for the bigger trucks to reach us without getting stuck in the middle of town traffic. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. It’s not a fancy showroom with glass windows. It’s just a place where we store and sell cement. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. Usually, it's just me and a couple of helpers moving things around and counting the stock. When the weather is hot, we take our breaks in the shade of the warehouse. It’s hard work but it's what we know how to do. People from Badi Bazar know where to find us if they're building a new wall or a house. We don't make big promises or use big words. We just show up, open the shutters, and get to work. The location is good for the business, even if the road gets noisy.
