Ansari Road in Darya Ganj is a place with a lot of history, and our office at 4831/24 is right in the thick of it. We are on the second floor, and the stairs are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful if you’re carrying anything heavy. It’s Central Delhi, so there is always a hum of activity from the street below—horns honking, people shouting, and the smell of food from the local stalls. Our work is in agritech, which is funny because the building we are in feels like it was built a lifetime ago. We have cables running along the walls and desks that have seen better days. It’s a small space, so we end up knowing everything about what each person is working on. There isn't much privacy, but it makes communication easy. We usually have a tea break in the late afternoon when the sun starts to go down. The light in Darya Ganj at that time is actually quite nice, even with all the dust. We handle a lot of technical stuff on our computers, but we also spend time just talking to people on the phone about their equipment. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with papers and parts sitting around, but we know where everything is. It’s a real place where real work happens every single day, and we don't mind the noise.
