A-1 Overseas

Our business, A-1 Overseas, is tucked away at C-27/3 on Lane 20, right besides the Yamuna Vihar Bus Depot in North Ghonda. Being so close to the depot means we hear the buses starting up early in the morning and late into the night. It is a very busy part of North Ghonda, and the lane can get quite cramped with parked scooters and people moving around. Our office is simple and serves its purpose for our overseas work. We have stacks of documents on the desks and a few samples of what we handle scattered around. The room is a bit small, so we have to be very organized with where we put things so we don't trip over each other. There is a small tea stall just around the corner where we usually get our mid-day drinks, and the guy there knows exactly how we like it. The walls have a few calendars and a clock that’s always a few minutes fast, but nobody bothers to fix it. We just focus on the shipments and making sure the details are right for the customers. It is a bit of a squeeze when we get a large shipment in, but we make it work by moving some of the furniture around. It’s a plain, hardworking environment without any of the bells and whistles you might find in a bigger city office.
