Travel 2000 Tours

Our office for Travel 2000 Tours is located at Office No 30 in Mohan Singh Place, right in the middle of Connaught Place. Being near the Rivoli PVR is great because there is always something happening outside, though the noise from the traffic can be a lot sometimes. We have been sitting in this same spot helping people with their travel plans for quite a while. The building itself is one of those older ones in CP, so it has that specific smell of old paper and dust. Inside our office, we have a couple of computers and maps pinned to the wall that have probably been there since we started. People come in to ask about train tickets or cheap flights to places like Goa or Manali. We spend a lot of time on the phone with airlines or trying to fix bookings when a website crashes. It is not a fancy corporate setup at all. The chairs are a bit worn out and the tea stains on the desks tell the story of many long afternoons spent working. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles during the peak of summer, but we make do. It is a busy place because of the location, so we see a lot of tourists wandering in by mistake looking for directions too. We just help them out and then get back to our work. It is a steady rhythm of booking trips and answering questions about visas or hotels.
