Karol Bagh is famous for its markets, and we are tucked away at 1767/54 on Shri Kishan Dass Road, right by Hari Singh Nalwa Street. Tony Auto Sales is basically a place where we deal with parts and talk about vehicles all day long. It’s usually pretty greasy because that’s the nature of the work. We have shelves full of metal bits and boxes that we’ve known the location of for years, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. The street is always jammed with motorcycles and people looking for a bargain. I start the day by pulling up the heavy shutters and moving some of the bigger items outside so we have room to breathe inside. It’s not a quiet job. There is always the sound of engines or people haggling over prices. We don't have a polished showroom. It’s a practical space for people who need things for their cars or bikes. I’ve spent more time on this street than I have at home some weeks. You meet all kinds of people here, from mechanics to regular folks just trying to fix their own rides. We just give them what they need and move on to the next person. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our feet. The days are long, but that’s just how Karol Bagh operates. We don't overthink it.
