Tarkish Jeans

Tarkish Jeans is over at 6260 Gali No. 1. If you know the Club Man Gali area in Dev Nagar, you can find us pretty easily. We are right in the heart of Tank Road in Karol Bagh. It’s a very busy place for clothes. There are shops everywhere you look. We spend most of our time dealing with denim and making sure the orders are ready. It’s a small space and it gets crowded with rolls of fabric and finished jeans. The street outside is always full of people moving stuff around. Karol Bagh is like that, it never really stops. We started this because we wanted to do something local. My brother and I run things mostly. We don't have fancy marketing or a big showroom. It’s more of a workshop feel here. Sometimes the machines are loud and we can barely hear the phone ringing. We just keep our heads down and work. The weather gets really hot in these narrow lanes but we are used to it by now. People come to us from all over Delhi because Tank Road is the place for this kind of work. We aren't trying to be some big global brand. We just want to make good jeans and keep the shop running. Every day is different, sometimes it’s quiet and sometimes we are rushing to finish a big batch before the sun goes down. It's a lot of work but it's what we know how to do best and we stay focused.
