You can find us at 111, Radha Krishan Gupta Marg in Model Basti. It’s an old area and the streets can be a bit narrow and confusing if you aren’t from around here. We’ve been operating out of this building for a long time. It feels like an old home that turned into a workspace over the years. We handle optical lenses and stuff like that. There’s a lot of glass and boxes everywhere. It’s not the kind of place where everything is shiny and new. We have old wooden desks and shelves that have seen better days. But they hold up. The neighborhood is mostly residential mixed with small businesses like ours. You hear the sounds of the street all day long—people shouting, scooters going by, and the occasional vegetable seller. We usually start the day early before it gets too hot. Most of the work involves checking prescriptions and packing up orders to go out to different shops. It’s repetitive but we’ve got a system that works for us. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. We just do the work, talk to the regular people who come by, and go home. It’s a quiet life in a busy part of Delhi. There’s always a bit of dust on the windows, no matter how much we clean, but that’s just Model Basti for you. We just focus on the daily lens orders.
