If you ever come to Majnu Ka Tila, you will find us at House No 6 on the first floor. This area is quite unique, very different from the rest of Delhi with all the narrow alleys and the Tibetan influence. We are Shivsai Exports And Trades Private Limited. Being on the first floor means we have to carry everything up and down the stairs, which is quite a workout. The office is a bit cramped because we have samples and documents piled up everywhere. It’s a busy place. We handle both exports and general trading, so there is never a quiet moment. Sometimes we are talking to people about textiles and other times it is something completely different. We have a couple of old fans that make a lot of noise but they keep us cool enough. Majnu Ka Tila is always full of people, so there is a lot of life right outside our door. We aren't a corporate giant with glass walls. We are just a group of people working out of a rented floor. We make sure we keep our ledgers updated and answer the emails as they come in. There is no secret to what we do. It’s just about being consistent and showing up every morning. We often grab lunch from the small eateries nearby, which is one of the perks of being here. It’s a simple life and the work keeps us occupied from morning until evening most days of the week.
